Here we are, at the beginning of an incredible adventure, and I couldn’t be more excited (or emotional!) to share it with you. Thank you for already being part of this journey. Your encouragement and support so far has meant the world to me.
This space is where you’ll find updates, prayer requests, behind-the-scenes stories, and all the details on how you can partner with me on this mission. But before we dive into what’s ahead, let’s rewind a little.
A Glimpse Back
In October last year, I went on my first mission trip to Ghana with a team led by John and Sarah Fahy, to support the amazing work of The King’s Village. It was a life-changing experience (as you’ve probably guessed, why else would I be starting this blog?).
Over the years, I’ve received prophetic words and encouragement, and while I didn’t know the full picture, I sensed that Ghana might just be part of it. And once I was there, it felt like the fulfillment of so much that has been spoken over my life.
Even before that trip, I had a deep sense that God was preparing me for more than just a two-week trip. I just didn’t know exactly what that meant.
Fast Forward
As soon as I got back to the UK, I knew I had to return. So in February, I went on my first solo trip to Ghana. Honestly, I don’t have enough space here to explain just how phenomenal it was. I prayed for clarity and confirmation, and in the most beautiful ways God gave me just that.
Throughout my life, I’ve often longed to see the whole picture. But God’s always revealed things step by step. This time, though, He’s shown me the direction and now, I just have to trust Him with the steps to get there.
So, What’s the Plan?
In September, I’m planning to return to Ghana for 3-4 months. This trip will mark the start of the role I’ll be stepping into—Children’s Pastor and Missionary at The King’s Village. (Still can’t quite believe I get to say that out loud!) You can find more about the role here in the attached letter.

After that, I’ll return to the UK to prepare for moving to Ghana long-term. During my time in the UK, I’ll be working part-time, continuing my role at The King’s Village remotely, saving, soaking up every moment with loved ones, and getting ready to make the move when God says. With every step along the way, I want to be guided and directed by God. We can make our plans, but God’s plans are more important.
How You Can Journey With Me?
Over the coming months, I’ll be sharing regular blog updates about the work I’ll be doing, the things God’s speaking to me about, and ways you can support and pray. If you know me, you’ll know that asking for help doesn’t come naturally, but I also know I can’t do this alone. God hasn’t called me to walk this road alone, and practically, it’s just not possible.
Here are the ways you can support me:
1. Prayer
This is the most important. I need a faithful group of prayer warriors – people interceding, listening to God, praying boldly, and covering me and the work of The King’s Village in prayer.
I’ll be setting up a WhatsApp group called At The Well – Prayer. If you’d like to be part of that, fill this form in and I will add you to the group.
2. Encouragement
There’ll be highs and there’ll be some lows (I imagine that will involve a combination of missing home and encountering animals that I don’t like) – and then just the normal days in between. Your encouragement means more than you know. Drop me a message, check in, and tell others about what’s happening in Ghana. It all matters.
3. Financial Support
As I step into this role as an independent missionary, I’m funding it myself – and I’d love you to prayerfully consider partnering with me.
Here’s a rough idea of my monthly living costs:
- £500+ per month for living expenses (food, rent, transport)
- £700–£900 for return flights (London-Accra and Accra-Tamale)
- £100–£150/year for visa
- Plus all the unexpected extras (because, well… life. I will also need a hefty stash of anti-malaria tablets and jungle formula inspect repellent haha).
It’s a bit daunting – but I know that if God’s called me to this, He’ll provide. I’ll be using a Stewardship Account for donations and monthly sponsorship. No pressure, just prayerfully consider if this might be something God wants you to do.
4. Practical Resources
There are a few personal items I’ll need to help me get started. Top of the list right now is a laptop. If you’ve got one you no longer use – or know of a good, affordable one – please get in touch. I’ll also be sharing ways you can support the children I’ll be working with and resources they could benefit from.
Final Thoughts (and Feelings 😭 – Myers Briggs told me I’m a 99% feeler)
Honestly, writing this has made me a little teary (but would you expect anything less from me?). As I keep sharing more of the vision, I hope you’ll catch my heart and passion for this adventure.
So many people have paved the way for me to say “yes” to this call and the next chapter. Pastor Ben and Pastor Marion, have been a huge support over the past 9 months and I am so grateful for them.
And then, of course, there’s my incredible parents, Joanne and Wayne. If you know anything about our family, you’ll know that listening to God’s voice and following His lead has always been at the core of how we live. That’s how I’ve been brought up – and honestly, it’s what makes listening to God, hearing His voice, and allowing Him to take the lead a lot easier.
Thank you for reading, for praying, and for walking alongside me. I’m so excited to bring you with me on this journey, one step at a time.
